Join us to Salute the Summer with a one hour mindully flowing yoga class outside in the peaceful Sommer Park, just 2 minutes from the main street of Bright. Classes are a slow but strong flowing vinyasa style with elements of Taoism and mindfulness incorporated with other aspects of yoga philosophy. Move your body, calm your mind and connect with the outdoors in our beautiful alpine setting.
Whether you need to stretch out after a day of mountain biking or trail running; clear the cobwebs from an evening tasting the region’s wine; prepare for day of hiking, swimming, cycling or relaxing… this hour long class will set you up!
A couple of the classes on the schedule will be taught by my beautiful friend and co-teacher Kylie Bertuch of Ginger Ki Yoga
Buy a pass online or pay cash at the park!
Kids are welcome to join for free but please note this is not a specific family yoga class and it is your responsibility to ensure your child is not disruptive to others. Best suited for babes in arms or older school-aged children.
The North East is very fortunate to have Emily Rose Yoga offering exceptional workshops, classes and retreats based on functional movement patterns combined with spirituality. Emily Rose guides her yoga students through anatomically sound asanas, with an emphasis on providing each student an environment where they can safely explore a movement practice for mind, body and spirit.
On a recent holiday to Bright I came across Emily’s Yoga class. I found her to be very welcoming, friendly and an insightful teacher. Since then, I have particularly enjoyed her e-mails, instagram and blogs to encourage me in my yoga journey.
Yoga in the park with Emily was the best way to start the weekend. Practicing under such a magnificent gum tree in a peaceful and quiet section of the park really created a brilliant atmosphere for a gentle, and flowing practice, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I wish Bright were warm enough for this to be feasible all year round!
