RAISE YOUR VIBRATION
A one day retreat with Emily Rose Yoga and Ginger Ki Yoga
Saturday 11 May | 9am – 5:30pm
215 Mt Buffalo Retreat, Mt Buffalo Road, Porepunkah
Join Kylie Bertuch Haynes from Ginger Ki Yoga & Emily Rose from Emily Rose Yoga for a one day yoga retreat at the stunning location of 215 Mt Buffalo Retreat’s Yoga studio, surrounded by bushland and views of Mt Buffalo.
Take time out to explore ways to raise your vibration while balancing the chakras (centres of energy) as we combine the powerful practices of vinyasa & yin yoga, mantra & music, meditation, journalling and essential oils. These practices work to unblock our energy anatomy and allow us to awaken from the fog, and rise up into vibrancy.
We will create a safe and supportive environment to encourage energetic shifts, uncovering your true essence within. You will walk away feeling balanced and enlivened.
A healthy lunch and snacks will be provided with time to walk in the surrounding bush or swim in the onsite pool.
This retreat is specially designed for people who are open to exploring their practice in more depth and open to all levels.
[The Raise your Vibration retreat] was honestly one of the most peaceful times of my life, it flowed in a beautiful harmonious manner leaving me feeling empowered and relaxed. This experience has left me wanting more and my only regret is that I have not discovered sooner!Paras Caloutas
Everything in our Universe is made up of energy.
And powerful things start to happen when we focus our attention on our energy.
Within the energetic body (made up of various channels, fields and centres) the chakras are the main subtle energy centres located physically around the main branchings of the nervous system. Many ancient traditions across the world have chakra systems as part of the energetic anatomy of the body. At Raise Your Vibration we’ll be exploring the yogic system of seven chakras located up the spine from Root to Crown.
The Chakras relate to different physical, emotional, mental and spiritual conditions and experiences and working with these centres can help to awaken us to healing or shifts that need to occur in any of these layers.
As we raise the vibration of (or bring more balance to) the chakras our energy is able to flow more fluidly up the central energetic channel of the spine. We are able to feel more grounded and connected to our sense of purpose as well as trusting in the unfolding of life and connecting to spirit.
When we move our bodies in yoga (or Tai Chi, Qi Gong etc) we mobilise the spine so that information and energy can move more freely and we stimulate the chakras and energy channels through twists, hip openers, backbends, forward bends and inversions. Not only does this build strength and mobility in our physical body but it can assist to release tension and unblock areas where we may be storing emotion. As we release these stored habits we can start to uncover the wisdom that lies underneath.
Bring into this the potent practices of pranayama and mindfulness and we can dive deep into the subtleties of the body-mind connection throughout the whole energetic body.
We are surrounded by nature that is constantly increasing in energy and we can draw on nature’s gifts to help us re-balance and re-calibrate.
We will be exploring some of nature’s most potent essential oils during our retreat. We will create a powerful blend of doTERRA 100% pure certified therapeutic grade oils to support us on the journey through the practices as we shake things up a little through the day.
Sound is a powerful way for us to access and enliven our energy anatomy. Sound is vibration and energy is vibration. When we bring the two together, incredible things can happen to raise our vibration.
We will be also exploring sound through the means of our voice in relation to the specific energy centres (chakras) to help bring them back into balance. We will also explore mantra, vibrational sound keys created with our voice (chanting) that can unlock doors to new prana (energy/life force).
What would it mean to you to take a day for yourself and dive deep into the layers of your being and enliven your cells?
What would it mean for you to become the driver of your own healing journey?
How empowered would you feel knowing you have the tools to support yourself along the way?
This day has been designed to take you on a journey through the more subtle layers of our selves, but also to equip you with these tools so you can walk forward in your power feeling re-balanced, enlivened and empowered.
Will you join us?

ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Emily has been a student of many styles of yoga over the past 20 years but particularly loves to teach a strong yet slow flowing vinyasa style, that blends alignment based principles to build strength with a softer mindful, often philosophical side. Emily has over 500 hours of teacher training (including Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal and Kids yoga), has been teaching for 5 years, with over 1000 hours of teaching experience, and is registered Level 2 teacher with Yoga Australia.
Emily inspires people to make positive change in the world by helping them to create deeper connections with their own body-mind, each other and the earth. She invites students to utilise the rich variety of techniques that have been passed down by ancient traditions and combine this with modern scientific knowledge about the anatomy of the body and mind. Emily focuses above all on the connection between body, breath and mind and assisting students to ground themselves in their bodies, in the present moment, in order to uncover deeper layers of their being. She teaches both Yang and Yin styles of yoga and is currently undertaking further study in Mindfulness Meditation teaching. She is passionate about bringing the life-changing practices of Buddhist meditation and philosophy, and Earth mindfulness, into as many lives as possible.
Emily loves whole foods, nature, adventures in the mountains, taking action on injustice, teaching and above all connecting people in love and kindness through yoga. You can read more about Emily here.
